Music for editing...

Hey everyone!

As photographers/artists, we spend so much of our time creating, and then inevitably editing our creations. I love the process of both, and indeed both are crucial, but sometimes the editing part can get a bit...long and tedious.

The last 2 months or so, I found myself editing sooooo much that I needed a little extra something to take the edge off the long (and often late) hours.

SO, I went on a little quest to find some good 'editing music' and wanted to share some goodies that weren't intrusive to the process of post processing, but rather a nice background to it.

Of course these are all my personal preferences, and I have a thing for violin, and piano, but I hope at least one other person will find some inspiration in them as well ;)

From "The Secret Garden" Soundtrack - (skip to :40 seconds in)...

From "The Village" Soundtrack...

From the "Finding Neverland" Soundtrack Score...

From the amazing composer, Yann Tierson; ""Comptine d'un autre été"

From the "Cold Mountain" Soundtrack...

From the "Twilight" Soundtrack (skip to 1:07 - 1:24 to hear the part from the actual movie)...

"Everyday", by Carly Comando (AMAZING)

Happy Mid-Week, btw ;)

thanks so much for sharing these Ash :) the post process part of photography is a major aspect to the image itself. If we are not in the right frame we cannot expect our best to follow.

you're a gem

I've been listening to the soundtrcks of some of my favorite films this week, but I had forgotten the beautiful "Secret Garden" OST - one of my fav movies as a child. Thanks for reminding!
